Dhaka University Alumni Forum Inc.
DUAFI (Dhaka University Alumni Forum Inc) is a voluntary, nonprofit and nonpolitical forum of Graduates holding Bachelor/Post Graduate degrees from the Dhaka University Main Campus who are currently residing in the Greater Washington D.C. Metro area (Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.) of the United States of America, organized exclusively for cultural, educational, and charitable purposes.
Eligibility
Ex-Students with a degree from Main DU Campus having a Residential Hall affiliation and currently residing in the greater DC Metro area (DC-MD-VA)
Fellowship
Work for the improvement of fellowship among the graduates of Dhaka University campus graduates living in Greater Washington DC metro area.
Heritage
Promote Bangladeshi heritage and culture by arranging events, programs for the Members and their families.
Workshops/Seminars
To conduct seminars, workshops and educational programs independently and/or in conjunction with national and international organizations.
Support DU Students
Extend assistance to Dhaka University students in their academic endeavors either through financial help or material support.
Community
Engage in community activities to share resources and support each other.

Inauguration 2019-2020 Board
DUAFI Board of Directors for 2019 - 2020 came to the helm on January 01, 2019 but the Inauguration Ceremony took place in February 2019. The new Board is seen in the pictures addressing the audience (the DUAFI Members) and laying out the plan of action for the term.
Year End Event 2019 - তব জয়গান বাজে
DUAFI arranges a cultural show every two years that epitomizes the Bangladeshi heritage and culture and protrudes who we are and where we came from. The event also projects the rich and diversified Bangladeshi culture and tradition to our new generation growing up in a far away land that we came to call our own.
Reunion 2020 - পুষ্পিত তরঙ্গমালা
Each DUAFI Board organizes the biggest event of their term biennially. 2020 Reunion was unusual and memorable as it was done virtually with the participation of members joining through ZOOM. Albeit, the event was a success - thanks to the tireless pragmatic team of volunteers, subcommittees and artists.
Board of Directors 2023-2024
The general management of DUAFI is managed by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of 5 good standing members, comprising President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer.
